Court Cost and Cost Administration

The Court Clerk’s Office will collect court ordered fines, fees, costs and other assessments in criminal cases.

Court-ordered criminal assessments are expected to be settled at or before the time of sentencing, unless the sentencing judge or cost judge approves a payment plan. It's important to note that payment plans are not automatically granted. Defendants are required to visit the Court Clerk's office as instructed by the sentencing judge to establish a new payment plan. Please be advised that we operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

We offer various payment options for your convenience, including:

  • Cashier's Check
  • Credit Cards (American Express, MasterCard, Visa)
  • Money Order
  • Online

Please be aware that when using credit cards, the cardholder must be physically present for the transaction. For instance, the defendant cannot use a relative's card for payment without the relative being present.

  • Make checks payable to: Marilyn Williams Court Clerk
  • Mail to: Cleveland County Court Clerk, 200 S. Peters Ave., Norman, OK 73069   

 To pay in person:    

Cleveland County Courthouse, 201 S. Jones Ave. (west entrance); the Court Clerk’s Office is on the first floor (1E or east —up half a flight of stairs).

Note: Free parking is limited. You may need money for a parking meter.
